This distinguished visiting lecture will outline pressing water security challenges for society and identify priorities for interdisciplinary science to respond.
The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion with leading water researchers across multiple disciplines at McMaster University, UN University and regional partners. Panelists will outline how McMaster and its partners are responding to these policy challenges.
The Philomathia Water Forum will serve as a springboard for McMaster’s interdisciplinary water initiatives, which aim to achieve research excellence, educate the next generation of water science and policy leaders, and deliver local and global impacts now and in the future.
