The Kavli Foundation advances science for the benefit of humanity and promotes increased public understanding and support for scientists and their work. At Kavli Energy NanoScience Institute (ENSI), exciting research is being undertaken in nanoscience, neuroscience and astroscience, with the aim to create powerful new approaches to energy conseration, utilization and efficiency.
The Philomathia Foundation proudly supports the Kavli Energy NanoScience Institute. We initially provided funding to help establish the institute and in 2016, we established the Kavli ENSI Philomathia Graduate Student Fellowship. The one-year graduate fellowship positions are designed to give promising young researchers the opportunity to work across the disciplines of nanoscience to discover new ways in probing and/or controlling energy processes on the nanoscale.
