Aminata is from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and received her MPhil in African Studies, writing her dissertation on the politics of museum artifacts and the links between empire, colonialism and geopolitics. She is now a second‐year PhD student in International History and Politics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva.
