ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, POLICY, AND MANAGEMENT
Edoardo is a Fulbright Scholar and PhD candidate in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management, where he works in the Gillespie Lab. He integrates evolutionary ecology, biogeography, and the interactions among plants, microbes, and insects to understand how forest ecosystems respond to stress. He has worked on study systems ranging from Cypress Canker Disease in the Mediterranean to Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death in Hawaiʻi. With his research, he seeks to reveal how biotic interactions shape the way living systems persist, adapt, or transform under environmental change.
