PhD candidate in Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. At Berkeley, she works with Sally Thompson studying ecohydrology. Prior to coming to Berkeley, Jeannie did her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arizona as a Flinn Scholar. After that, she spent a year at the University of Cambridge completing an MPhil in Earth Sciences as a Churchill Scholar, where she worked with Sasha Turchyn studying interactions of carbon, sulfur, and iron cycling in salt marshes. To find out more about my path to and thoughts on ecohydrology, you can check out my “Meet a Leaf” profile on the AGU Ecohydrology site or head over to the Research section to find out what she has been working on.
